Texas Space Banana

I do not know if this is a joke or not, but if it is real it is the only possible thing that could ever get me to visit Texas. According to this website,Geostationary Banana OverTexas, artists and engineers will place a gigantic, inflatable, stationary Banana 25000 feet over Texas for the whole month of August 2008. I can't imagine this is true, or that Texans would stand for it for a few reasons.
1)It is art.
2)It is too high to shoot at.
3) It is not a giant floating Jesus Christ.
and 4) It is phallic and therefore might appear to be gay or pro-homo.
