I would like to start a tradition on my Blog to have a stupid quote of the week. I decided to call it Idiot Wind Blowing, with respect to Bob Dylan's classic song of a similar name. This week's quote comes from a personal favorite of mine Pat Robertson. He is responding to the very smart people of Dover PA that decided to vote out all 12 school board members who wanted to weaken the foundation of science in the public school with the non-science "intelligent design".


"I'd like to say to the good citizens of Dover, if there is a disaster in your area, don't turn to God. You just rejected him from your city, and don't wonder why he hasn't helped you when problems begin, if they begin, and I'm not saying they will. But if they do, just remember you just voted God out of your city. And if that's the case, then don't ask for his help, because he might not be there."-Pat Robertson
