Shutter Island

Martin Scorsese gives this film a 1940's feel making it seem like a
remake. The plot twist has been done many times before and there are
many cliche moments but they work as a tribute to the mystery flicks of
the past. Even if you guess the ending the acting of this stellar cast
will make it worthwhile. Some of the people sitting near us gasped
"what!" at the end, but any befuddlement will be due to a lack of
interest or attention.
